On July 23, 2024, R.E.E Mechanical & Electrical Engineering JSC (REE M&E) is proud to be selected as the contractor for the construction of the air conditioning, ventilation, power supply, and control systems for Package 12 of the Noi Bai International Airport Terminal T2 expansion project. This package is undertaken by the Viet Bac Contractors' Consortium.
As a special national key infrastructure project, the expansion of Noi Bai Airport’s Terminal T2 is a significant undertaking with a total investment of VND 4,996 billion. Of which the main construction package is valued at VND 4,600 billion. The Noi Bai International Airport Terminal T2 expansion project will be implemented an area of more than 412,000 m², including both the existing and expanded areas. The project aims to expand the T2 Terminal and auxiliary facilities, as well as renovate and convert the functions inside the existing terminal. Upon completion, the T2 Terminal will be expanded by an additional 61,100 m² of floor area and renovated, converting 18,730 m² of floor area, bringing the total floor area of the terminal to 200,100 m². This will boost the capacity from 10 million passengers/year to 15 million passengers/year. The terminal will also be equipped with advanced aviation technology and equipment in line with international standards.
